Braden Equities Inc. is a professional Property Management Company who is looking for an individual to fill a position as Head Accountant in our Accounting Department. This is a full-time position from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.

The successful individual will have the following skills:

  • 3-5 years’ worth of accounting experience, or a university degree, in accounting, including:
    • Bookkeeping with Sage Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, etc.
    • Payroll and related government remittances
    • GST remittances
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Experience working with Property Management specific software (Spectra, Yardi)
  • Ability to manage the Accounting Department, its duties, deadlines and staff
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Have great organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Have a friendly professional attitude and be a team player
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Type minimum of 50 wpm
  • Be fluent in English
  • Be bondable and able to provide a basic security clearance
